Compatibility Notes
  • 2012+ GM trucks and SUVs equipped with factory navigation radios require the RP5-GM32
  • 2014+ Silverado and Sierra: Only compatible with 2500 & 3500 series trucks with non-navigation radios. 1500 series must use the RP5-GM51. 2500 & 3500 series trucks with navigation radios must use the RP5-GM32
  • In Premium Amplified Systems there will be no fading capability of the aftermarket stereo.
  • Chevrolet Express vans & GMC Savannah vans equipped with diesel engines are not compatible
  • In order to retain the factory XM tuner the aftermarket head unit MUST be equipped with an auxiliary input
  • In order to retain the factory XM tuner the vehicle must be equipped with steering wheel controls and a driver information center
  • Sony Bluetooth SWC commands are only supported with revision 1.6.6.14 or higher

Compatibility Notes
  • Vehicle MUST have the ability to support Satellite Radio

  • If vehicle is equipped with factory satellite radio it must be disconnected. These vehicles can also use the ISHD571 / ISBT21
  • Vehicles equipped with XM Nav-Traffic are not compatible
Vehicle Specific Notes
  • Honda Civic: Not compatible with DX or LX trim.
  • Civic radio can have an “XM/AUX” button or just an “AUX” button to be compatible
  • Honda Ridgeline: Not compatible in vehicles equipped with factory navigation radio

  • Aftermarket Satellite Radio support requires the purchase of the ISSR11 & an SCC1 tuner (both sold separately, Canadian SCC-1C is not supported)
  • Radio must be equipped with a “CAT” + “Band” button combination or “XM” button to be compatible

P.I.E. iPod® Cable for Sony

P.I.E.’s SON/USB-200IPV connecting cable gives you high-speed access to the music and video on your iPod or iPhone® through your compatible Sony DVD or GPS receiver. One end of the cable plugs into your iPod’s dock connector; the other end includes a USB cable and a miniplug video cable, both of which connect to your receiver.
The USB cable handles the control and charging of your iPod, so you can navigate through your music files with the receiver’s controls while you view song info on its display. The miniplug connector transfers the video from your iPod to the stereo’s video input. The adapter is compatible with Sony’s XAV-60, XAV-70BT, XNV-660BT, and XNV-770BT receivers. Warranty: 90 days.

JVC KS-U49 iPod® Audio/Video Cable
